It's about time... I've seen a few websites answer these questions and it's always so fun to read through them! I hope my answers are entertaining too! Source for the questions are here!

1. Please introduce yourself.
Hi! You can call me by my url, Juria. I am an adult from Earth and I enjoy various things, but mostly reading, gaming, writing, drawing, and coding! I can ascribe several different labels, but I think they're lame.
2. How long have you been making websites?
Since 2020ish? I've been a few places as a few people.
3. And what got you into the hobby?
Remember when Bebo was a social media platform? I used to make custom themes there all the time as a kid, which carried over eventually into tumblr themes, and then into neocities when I left the larger internet in favor of the indie scene. The customisation has always appealed to me most, and learning everything through self teaching has been addictively rewarding.
4. What kind of website are you most interested in?
Personal sites are my bread and butter. I truly adore learning about others, reading blog posts, diving deep into shrines. I also really enjoy clique sites, they're so fun to take part in!
5. What's your workflow? Do you plan your websites out thoroughly or do you come up with the design as you go along?
No planning, I just do what I feel like in the moment and force it to work. I'm too lazy for planning...

7. What's your favourite part about making websites?
The finished product! I wish I could be nicer and say something more interesting, but the end result is always the most satisfying aspect of it all. Zooming in and out to see that everything works well at different sizes. Switching to mobile mode to see the code working as intended, etc.
8. And the thing you struggle with the most?
Not being lazy. The sole reason my site uses iframes is not because I wanted it for design reasons, but because I'm too lazy to code more pages LOL...
9. Do you keep the same layout on all of your pages? Or do you use different ones?
Whoops I basically answered this above LOL. The only pages with different layouts are/will be my shrines because I wanna put extra effort into them.
10. How confident are you with CSS?
Pretty confident. It's not like... Professional by any means, but I know my way around it which is all I care about.
11. Do you know how to correctly use <dl>?
No! This is cool though.
12. What is your favourite HTML element?
ID's
13. If you're making a new web page from scratch, what is the first thing you do?
Open https://grid.layoutit.com/ and make a layout up on the spot.
14. Do you know JavaScript?
A little. Not enough. I hate JS.
15. How about PHP?
No, but I am curious about it for dress up doll purposes...
16. Does your website have a theme that you stick to?
Red, I suppose. It's not my fav color, but it's a good one.
17. Are you more focused on content or design?
I don't know... Content probably, since I'm so lazy about designing.
18. Do you own a domain name? If not, would you ever want to?
I used to! But then I stopped paying for it.
19. What do you think of nostalgia-focused or "retro" websites?
They're pretty cool and I'm glad they exist! I personally find them a bit obnoxious to explore though and tend to avoid them as a result.
20. Is your HTML valid? Do you even check?
Don't know, probably not. No I don't check.
21. What are your opinion on buttons and banners?
Love them. Want more!
22. What do you think of button walls in particular?
Love them. Want more!
23. If you started over again, would you make something similar or completely different?
Completely different no doubt. I enjoy a lot of aesthetics, and I'm not married to any in particular. I think that's why I really enjoy the idea of shrines, since they're usually individually crafted to suit the needs of the shrine, and are an opportunity for me to explore different styles!
24. Are you envious of other people's websites?
Not at all. Sometimes when I see a beautifully designed website I imagine the amount of work and effort it must have took and then I decide I'm too lazy for that. Very exciting to find such designs though! A few examples of beautiful designs are: humanfinny / sdaw / yunoid / sweet-pea / petrapixel / hhroses / and many, many more...
25. What text editor do you use?
VScodium.
26. Why do you use that one?
I hate microsoft.
27. Do you host your image files on your web server, or on another host?
On my own server, it's just easier. Another host is also unsafe, and annoying when they go down.
28. This might not be relevant to you, but what's your opinion on the Neocities vs. Nekoweb debate?
Who cares!!! Do what you want forever.
29. How much server space would you estimate your main website takes up?
Omfg I couldn't even guess sorry...!
30. Do you keep local backups of your files?
Yes 100%. And you should too!
31. Do you prefer simple or highly visual websites?
Simple because it's easier to take in the information that way. Highly visual sites sure are pretty to look at, but I'm easily overwhelmed and I'm likely to just give up instead.
32. Do you stick to certain colours? Do you do that on purpose, or is it your subconscious?
Yes, usually a max of three but I prefer just two, as if it's not obvious from my site. It's on purpose because too much color is visually unappealing to me. Unless it's rainbow...
33. Have you ever thought about quitting? Why?
Not yet!
34. Do you have many webmaster friends, or is it a solitary hobby?
I used to, and I'm making more the longer I exist here. But it's not necessary for me to enjoy the hobby!
35. Do people in your real life know about your website?
Yes! I do not hide it.
36. Do you update your website very often? How often is "very often"?
Once a day at least for some of my pages, even if it's not noted on my update log. Things like my mood tracker or miniblog, etc.
37. And the overall design, do you change that much? Why or why not?
No, I'm lazy, duh!
38. Is your website more you-focused, hobby-focused, or outside world-focused?
Me, me, me! I'd like to add some more hobby focused sections in future though...
39. Do you do web design professionally?
Absolutely not, I'd be fired immediately.
40. If not, would you like to? And if you're comfortable answering, what do you do for work?
No, sounds annoying. I hate the idea of turning a hobby into a money making machine.
41. Do you communicate with people by email very much?
All the time! I have a few penpals, and would be open to more.
42. Some people reject social media and use websites as a replacement. Do you keep social media outside of your website?
A tumblr account for fandom related reasons, and an ao3 account for posting and reading fanfics.
43. How about instant messengers? Do you use a mainstream one like Discord or Telegram? Or something like Matrix? Do you avoid them?
Unfortunately, I use discord because all of my irl (and most online) friends still refuse the leave the platform yet. And I use signal for a family groupchat. I hate discord specifically BTW they keep muting me for sending images wtf...!
44. Do you listen to music while you work on websites? If so, what kinds of artists?
Usually something fast because it helps me focus. Dance, trance, dnb, etc.
45. Do you keep everything you make on one website, or do you have more than one?
Just one for now. This is enough work as is!
46. On a similar note, do you keep to one topic on your site, or many?
I am multifaceted, so many.
47. Do you present your real self, or at least try? Or do you construct a persona on purpose?
There will always inevitably be some sort of a persona presented, right? Details will be removed, edited, changed to better fit an online landscape. My personality is true to myself IRL, but I am not straight up exposing myself online for everyone to see.
48. Have you ever made a good friend thanks to your website?
Not this one yet.
49. Are you happy with the way HTML and CSS currently work?
Ya sure, no complaints.
50. What are practices that you think people should avoid?
Caring about what anyone else thinks about your site, including me. Also autoplay music; I immediately exit sites that use autoplay music.
51. What about under-utilised practices, or things you think people should do more?
Nothing in particular, do whatever you want, punks not dead so on and so forth.
52. Do you use a lot of semantic HTML? Or are you guilty of generic structure?
Generic most likely.
53. Do you consider different browsers?
Yeah, it is unfortunately something that must be taken into account personally.
54. Speaking of, what's your preferred browser? Convince your readers why they should use it.
Helium. Something something de-googled chromium. I don't actually know the ins and outs of the browser, I just enjoy that I can remove all AI features.
55. And what OS are you on?
Windows for now, but I'm looking to switch to a Linux distro at some point.
56. Do you have a strong opinion on that, or do you just happen to use it?
I hate it, but I'm lazy.
57. Are your websites mobile-friendly?
It works on mobile, it's usable, but I'm not sure if I'd call it friendly specifically.
58. What are your thoughts on autoplay?
Awful!!! Leave me alone!!!
59. What are your thoughts on webrings? Are you in any?
They're very cool but seem like a lot of work. Applying and waiting and adding the code and potentially editing the code to make it fit on your site... Yawns, I'm still too lazy...
60. Do you have any web shrines? What do you like to see in that sort of page?
I plan to have a few, and to add more, but I currently only have one added at the time of writing this blog post. As for what I like to see on shrines—literally whatever the webmaster is interested in enough to write about. I have no pref for the topic, only that the person writing about it is enthused. I like learning about anything and everything!
61. Are your websites "cliche", in your opinion?
Probably. I don't particularly care though.
62. What is your ideal website? Are you striving for that, or for something else?
It changes per day. I'm striving for ease of use for me specifically.
63. Are you an artist? Do you draw or design your own assets?
I am an artist, but I won't be sharing my art here because my style is identifieable. I'll likely share pixel art though!
64. What are your favourite resource sites?

65. Is there a habit you just can't get away from no matter how hard you try?
The marquee tag.
66. What's your biggest advice for a new webmaster?
Make a website for yourself. Don't listen to anyone else.
67. Do you keep all your styling in CSS? Or do you hard-code some?
I hard code some small snippets when I'm too lazy to return to the main css file.
68. What do you think of frameset layouts?
I don't care about any sort of layout, so long as I can navigate the site well enough.
69. How about table-based layouts?
Refer above.
70. Do you subscribe to the ideas of "one-column", "two-column" and "three-column" layouts? Do you use any of these?

71. Do you spend longer on the HTML or the CSS?
HTML because I get distracted with writing the actual content of the site.
72. Have you ever made a page with no CSS? It's useful for your thoughts.
No, I dread the thought...
73. Do you ever find yourself making layouts with nothing to put on them? Or do you only make layouts when the need arises?
Making layouts is a nice exercise, even if you have nothing to add. I sometimes indulge in this, yes.
74. Would you consider yourself a beginner? Or advanced? Somewhere in the middle?
Beginner, always.
75. Do you have a habit of looking at the source code of websites you visit?
Only when I want to understand how a specific section works, and not even necessarily to add to my own site. I'm just curious and like to learn!
76. How did YOU learn how to make websites?
Years of trial and error. I'm still learning!
77. Do you ever force elements to do things they're not supposed to?
Ya it's fun.
78. Thoughts on floating elements?
Fun when used with text.
79. When you're sizing stuff, what do you use first? Do you use px, em, %, or something else?
Whatever in the moment. Nothing specifically.
80. Do you have a favourite font?
MS UI Gothic.
81. Would you run a website with another person? How would that work?
Yeah, sounds like less work for me!
82. Do you surf the Web to find new personal websites very often?
Every day. I love checking out the 'global activity' tab on neocities to find new sites, because the search function always shows me the same sites again and again which gets boring.
83. Do you bookmark other people's websites? How would you feel knowing someone else bookmarked yours?
No, I don't really bookmark anything. And if someone bookmarked mine I'd feel embarrassment mostly!
84. What do you want people to be most impressed with when they see your website?
Y'know what... I don't actually care.
85. Are you interested in technology outside of websites? Do you collect?
On the surface level, yeah. I have a lot of old tech—every single DS, a PSP, loads of old phones kept throughout the years; in particular, my old sony xperia that I still adore... I also won a macbook at some point but I cannot STAND using that machine.
86. How often and for how long are you online?
Most of every day since I turned 11.
87. When it comes to your website, who is your target audience?
Me, myself, and I.
88. Have you ever been interested in XHTML?
Not particularly.
89. Do you program in general? Have you ever written a program for use with or on your website, not counting simple JavaScript?
No and no. I'm not smart enough yet.
90. Speaking of programs that help you make websites, what do you think of static site generators (SSGs)? Have you ever used one?
I suppose they'd be useful for noobs, right? I dunno though, I've never used one myself so I don't have a real opinion about them.
91. Do you keep a hitcounter? Why or why not?
No, I don't care.
92. Do you frequent forums? Which ones?
I used to, but they got boring and/or changed significantly.
93. Do you write your page content directly into the editor, or do you prepare it elsewhere, like a text document or a Word document?
Direct because I'm lazy. This is the theme of my personality I think...
94. Do you think you appear cool to others? A more accurate answer now: do other people ever say you're cool?
No. Yes.
95. Are you embarrassed of your old work? Have you ever deleted everything out of shame?
Not out of shame, but out of wanting a clean slate. I'm not embarrassed about any old work, it shows skill progression.
96. Would you close down your website if you couldn't update it, or would you leave an archive?
Close it.
97. Do you reveal a lot about yourself on your website? Or are you more secretive?
Secretive for sure. I don't trust the net at large, but I'm more open with friends!
98. Are you willing to reveal who your best online friend is, and/or if they have a website?
I would, but she literally doesn't exist anywhere except facebook for work related reasons. I am not doxxing my bestie LOL.
99. And do you optimise the images on your website?
No, but I'm going to since learning!
