For the first entry, I thought it might be nice to talk about what's current with me. An introduction of sorts, from me to you.
I'm currently... Making this blog entry! I struggled to pick a topic for my first blog post, but this felt fitting enough. Something about perfectionism, or wanting to make every entry worthwhile, even if just for myself. This, however, does feel somewhat worthwhile; something I can look back on in a year, a month, a week, and learn about what past me was doing on todays date. Hello future me!
I'm currently listening to... 'I Love My Computer' by Ninajirachi! The full album is hit after hit, and I've been playing it on repeat for a month or so now. Not a single bad song! I like it so much that I purchased the album through bandcamp and burned it onto a CD! My favorite track is 'iPod Touch', though 'fuck My computer' is such a close second... I really recommend you listen to it (Youtube link). Warning for flashing graphics though, stay safe!
I'm currently reading... 'Greek Lessons' by Han Kang (translation by Deborah Smith & Emily Yae Won). It's a romance novel I think, I haven't gotten very far into it, but I am enjoying it so far! Though, I'm being a bit slow with it... I'm more excited to read different books at the moment, so I've unfortunately been neglecting my current read, which is bad because I can only read one book at a time... And I feel compelled to finish whatever I started before moving on. Still, I'm eager to continue it and will read more tonight! The writing is a bit small for the paperback edition anyway, I need my glasses ᒡ◯ᵔ◯ᒢ
I'm currently playing... A whole lot of 'Deadlock' mostly! It's just so easy to log on and play a game or two. Maining Rem as per usual, but I played a couple games of Graves and Seven today and surprisingly got MVP's on each of them? A nice surprise! Besides Deadlock though, I bought a few games on the steam sale that I'm excited to play! Cozy Cleaner, Date Warp, NO MORE WORK FOR ITO, nophenia, Rauniot, Utter a Name, and Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls. I'm going to try one tomorrow! I'm sure you'll see a review in my media log sooner or later...
I'm currently watching... Anything from my watchlist! It's gotten pretty long, so I'm trying to work through it day by day. I'll usually watch one movie a day, but because I'm going to visit my partner today I think we might watch 'Obsession' together, or maybe the new 'Backrooms' movie? Unsure... (˶ ˘ ³˘)ˆᵕ ˆ˶)
I'm currently loving... This specific pistachio chocolate that my local store rarely gets in and when they do I buy out the whole stock... Rather than saying hi or hello to me when I enter the shop, I get updated on the status of the pistachio chocolate LOL.
I'm currently looking forward to... GDQ! As of the time of writing this, it starts in two days... How exciting! There aren't too many games on the list this year that I'm personally interested in, but the show is still a lot of fun and I learn a lot about so many topics during the livestream! Of course, I just enjoy watching gameplay with someone yapping over the footage, especially when I'm trying to fall asleep. But I enjoy donating too, and I enjoy hanging out with my friends during our yearly GDQ LAN! I can't wait!
I'm currently dreading... My final wisdom tooth removal... Gah, I hope future me heals well! Since it's the final extraction I am a little bit excited to get it over and done with, but it's also the most complicated extraction. The final tooth grew in completely horizontal, so I'm probably gonna get stitches again. It's a lower extraction too, so the increased risk of dry socket scares me a lot, but once it's done it's done and I never have to worry about it again! Good luck future me! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
